The sun is far behind the iron buildings
illumination just by artificial lights
you see no valleys of green
this is a dark and gloomy scene
this is a normal day in modern city life
there´s not a single person in the society
that is joyful singing and dancing street

people stuck in masses on the sidewalk
or they are isolated in a big car
everyone in his own
they are together alone
communicating like the soldiers in wars
from far appears some music pure and sweet
some people might be dancing in the street

and I heard they have a plan

they wanna make you dance all over the world
in every nation every boy and girl

people caught in oppressive tight outfits
nearly naked for the sake of the style
they want to be like a star
approve the ugliest scar
the operation made a beautiful smile
originally happy we come in between
we are singing dancing chanting in the street

the heads are full of plans for satisfaction
for career and for surviving at last
removing enemies
the wealth shall increase
the next is a rival who shall blast
please forget your worries
find your inner peace
join us singing and dancing in the street

the only thing I ask you is to dance
to happily start singing and chant
cause that´s the only way to understand
that's the only way to save the world indeed

everywhere is gleaming advertisement
for a plastic-pleasure fading but good
today especially cheap
the line of credit is deep
they sell chemical garbage as food
your eyes seem to be dazzled
so you cannot see
that there are people happy dancing in the street

everyone is running like refugees
they are fighting for the most absurd thing
they do their pointless work
they don´t care whom they hurt
this is no human life but beastly suffering
please forget your hurry
find your inner peace
make the people dancing in the street

This song appeared last autumn, in one weekend when I was alone in the temple and wantet to create something realy rhythmic
